SELF ASSESMENT

This term I have learnt a lot of new things and we have worked a lot . We have done a project recomendating a place and I have discovered very awesome places that I will travel to if I have the chance. Also we have learnt the pasive voice and conditionals  and  lots of helpful adjectives to describe a person or daily expressions about food . I liked learning how to be more enviromentally friendly and new expressions about recycling or verbs related with it. The  most complicated to me it were the phrasal verbs but they are very useful. 

EUROPEAN UNION

European union :it is and political association consisting of 28 democratic European countries  
Euratom :the  researching of atomic energy with "peacefully " intentions
Customs : state department that controls the goods entering or leaving the country and the taxes collected 
Tariff: tax on product imported from another country 
Merging : combining into an only body 
Granting :  pay to promote something  
Surplus :excess of production 
Foodstuff : a sustain used as food

UNIT 8

Charming:pleasing 
Sensible: reasonable
Selfish: self-seeking
Stubborn: persistent 
Unpredictable: changeable mind  or behaviour 
Proud: having self respect 
Vain :arrogant
handlers : people that take care of animals 
cubs : the baby of certain animals

VOCABULARY

Tertiary scet
or : activities that don't produce goods but offer services.
Transport :movement of people or goods from one point to another 
Tourism :movement of people away from their regular homes or places of residence to another area, for leisure and more than a day.
Leisure time :free time for having fun 
Trade : is an economic activity that involves buying and selling products and services.
Wholesale trade : buying large amounts of products directly from the manufacturer in order to sell products to the retailers  
Retail trade :selling products directly to the consumers. It involves selling products by mail, phone etc...

Importing :buying international products and services
Exporting : selling products and services to other countries 
Trading blocs : many countries joined together to encourage international trade between their members
Telecommunications :long distance systems that use cables or electro magnetic waves.
Internet :worldwide computer network that allows the efficient and effective exchange of information between its members 
Banking : processes carried out by a bank or finnacial institution in order to administrate or lend money. 
Loan :money a person receives from a bank wich they have to pay back with interest in a period of time.
Custom unions :a group of states that agree to have the same taxes on import of goods
